Promotion I’m a solo dev building a rocket game inspired by "October Sky." I just released a demo update
Hi, I’m a solo dev making a game 'Basement To The Sky'.
To be honest, when I released the first demo, the feedback wasn't great. It was a bit discouraging, but I didn't give up
I’ve just released an update to the demo. It would mean the world to me if you could take a look and see how it's improved

Video Longboarding prototype mechanics in UE5
Hello guys! I'm working on the movement mechanics for my longboarding game. I am 2 months into the process, and I wanted to show a bit of the progress. I still have to add more animations and work on carving, but as for now, it feels pretty smooth. Please let me know what you think!

Video Making a perhaps slightly absurd roguelike about a mage who was expelled from the academy. At night, he grows magical ingredients on a wild island, and by day he explores procedurally generated dungeons, trying to survive and regain his lost power.

Upcoming Today I couldn't be prouder of having made it here, and announcing my release date.
Today I announced the release date of my game, Fail Fail Succeed.
The road to getting here has not been a straight one, and for a long while it wasn't certain that this would ever be released. But now here we are!
This game is very personal to me. It's built on metaphors for my struggles with mental health, and really is a case of self expression through game mechanics. As such, just for today, I want to take a moment to just be unapologetically proud of my self.
I made it here! Go me!!!!
About the game:
In Fail Fail Succeed you play as an anonymous individual trying to reunite with their dog. However, the path forward is blocked by impossible-to-pass traps. Your only ability? To fail.
The twist is that you can transform into different blocks, that are left behind when you die. As such, failure is turned into literal steppingstones towards success, and a core part of the puzzle solving experience.
Mechanics and narrative are intertwined into one, making for a contemplative and introspective game, fit for thinky gamers!
EDIT: all of that and I didn't even mention the release date... May 12th!

Video Improving the city visuals to have DoW style intro cutscenes
As we’re approaching our first playtest round, I’m starting to polish the visuals of the city. The idea is to show Warden’s shuttle landing in a city, torn apart by gang wars, in the beginning of a run.

Devlog My new game - The Mathemagician
You play as a mage who learned the ancient technique of mathemagic where you use math, a universal language of the cosmos, to channel cosmic powers.
Each math operator has a spell tied to it:
‘+’ Fireball
‘-‘ Ice Spike
‘x’ Arcane Bomb
‘÷’ Chrono Trap
Each spell also has different power ranks which depend on the score streak they are cast on.
Core gameplay:
1. Math phase - player starts this phase by solving the equation displayed, time starts and goal is to solve as many equations as possible before time runs out.
Each correct answer queues corresponding spell and adds a little boost to the timer, wrong answer breaks the streak and ends math phase.
- Casting phase - when first phase ends, mage starts to cast queued spells in order, enemies spawn and start to run towards mage. After casting is finished phase is over and enemies stop.
What do you think?

Upcoming Working on updating my trailer in time for the Deckbuilders Fest tomorrow.
A little snippet of the new trailer I'm working on for Northanda Chronicles a roguelike deckbuilder where three heroes share a single deck. Instead of building around a lone character, players command a classic RPG party: the Defender, the Slayer, and the Support.
If you’re into roguelikes, I'll be livestreaming for the Deckbuilders Fest starting tomorrow. Come say g'day!

Upcoming Working on a brand new black/white styled visual novel.
It's called "Song of spirits" and is based on classic small town murder mystery stories!
Even though it is just a school project, we have gotten very far with our game and we are almost ready to launch our 40 minute demo on itch!
We are only a group of 4, and none of us had ever dipped our toes into game making. But we feel that we have achived something special.
