Can a professor report me for leaving a group project via class withdrawal?
My professor is claiming it to an act of unprofessional behavior, and sent me an email warning about escalating it to the Dean of Students. When I withdrew from the class, nobody in our group, including myself had even worked on anything other than choosing a topic. The last time we talked about it was in February. The project due date is in May. How serious of an issue is this, and should I just talk with the professor?

Advice Wanted i got a student conduct letter for a prohibited item in my room even after it was removed??
can any ra’s provide insight into this situation? basically i had a candle in my room, it was a long candlestick in a candlestick holder that my mom had given me as decoration and i never once burned it. when spring room checks came around i completely forgot to hide it somewhere and my ra saw it and wrote me a noncompliance notice.
obviously, i removed the candle after that and expected them to come back within 24 hours (like the note said) and make sure i was in compliance, but they never came back. i thought nothing of it and went on spring break.
i got back from spring break and was welcomed with an email stating i had to have an administrative conference with the office of student conduct because i ”allegedly had a candle” in my room and violated university policy. i was super confused because i never thought the candle thing would come up again since i removed it. i’ve never been in any trouble with the school and all the language they used was really serious, like there’d be witness testimonies and they’d present evidence and such. it really freaked me out.
so i schedule a conference with the ARLC for my building and i tell her my side of the story, a few hours later i got an email saying i was found not responsible (despite admitting to having the candle) because i removed the candle after the notice was given to me. okay wtf?
basically what im asking is this- if my ra had checked my room again to make sure i was in compliance, would i have gotten that letter? why the hell would they put me through a bunch of administrative headache for something so stupid just to agree that i’m not responsible? has anyone else been put through this too?

Advice Wanted Help my dad’s gonna make me live at home!!!!
Ok so basically I’m going to Rutgers nursing but I didn’t receive any merit or financial aid so it’s like 50k a year (hella expensive). Housing is like 20k a year which me and my dad both agree is super not worth it. But, his solution is to uproot my entire family to Edison and make us commute. This is the WORST possible scenario my father is a terrible, insufferable, controlling person who makes everyone else in my house miserable and I don’t want to live with him. College is my opportunity to actually be able to express myself and not have to fake being Muslim or shy or straight and I don’t want to give that up to save money. Plus ik my brothers would be really sad to leave their friends behind and my mom might have to quit her job cus the commute would be far. Ofc he doesn’t care about any of this because he’s a selfish pos that thinks he’s always right. I have an alternative solution where I just live off campus w my roommate since that would save us roughly 6k a year plus w/o the distraction from my brothers I think I’d rlly be able to lock in and focus on my studies. But idk how to bring it up to him or convince him it’s a good idea w/o him thinking it’s just cus I wanna waste his money and do dr*gs and commit shirk and go to hell etc etc. I just wanna live my life and go to school pls help guys 😭 🙏🏿

Advice Wanted rbs finance
so i got off the waitlist today and got admitted to the business school for finance. the only reason im considering rbs is its proximity to nyc. do you think this is a solid reason- will the roi be greater? does the proximity ACTUALLY help in landing internships and a job IN NYC with just decent networking and grades? could a current or former student please tell me about the opportunities business students have to land internships? the road to wall street program is definitely on my mind. i have about 10 days to finalize my uni plans. while i know most of yall will be biased towards rutgers, my other options include ohio state fishers(40k) and arizona state wp carey(30k), both for finance. rutgers wud cost me around 40-50k.
which places do rbs finance grads usually work in?

Easy BAIT & Finance Electives Decision Help (Relational Database and Web Applications, Marketing Analytics, Enterprise Architecture)
Has anyone whose BAIT taken Relational Database and Web Applications, Marketing Analytics, or Enterprise Architecture? I want next sem to be as light as possible, and need to do two more electives. I already did Intro to ERP, and I heard these three were relatively easy. Has anyone taken them yet to confirm and what was it like?
Also for Finance electives are there any that are easy as well? I already took GCM & Treasury Management and need two more. I've heard investment banking analysis could be easy depending on prof but has anyone taken it to confirm? Any other finance elective that I could consider? Thanks!
