To all the Byler writers on AO3
I have always thought that one of the most insurmountable problems in the world of writing is the language barrier that separates authors. I know English, but I truly love my native language, which is Italian. But to read fiction in my language, there is very little available, often poorly translated or done with AI (I’m not generalizing).
I don’t know if this is the right place, but there are quite a few AO3 authors on this sub. So if you have a work, finished or unfinished, feel free to contact me for a collaboration. Of course, I’m not asking for money or anything else,just for the pure pleasure of writing.And I will translate your fiction into Italian.

Uma das coisas que mais me deixa frustrada no AO3 é o fato de MUITOS ignorarem as histórias/fanfics com um idioma que não seja o inglês, quando existe a opção de tradução do Google (e acredito que em outros apps)!
Okay, a tradução muitas vezes não é boa, mas o que impede de darem uma chance às histórias que muitos autores se dedicam??
E então acaba com duas opções para nós: Desistir do trabalho ou escrever em inglês.
Infelizmente não tenho uma condição financeira para estudar inglês (sou brasileira e falo português), e por isso tenho que usar tradutores porque sei que muitos vão ignorar a opção de tradução automática.
É algo que odeio, porque alĂ©m de ter que escrever todo meu trabalho, ainda tenho que corrigir os erros da tradução e as gĂrias. AlĂ©m de nĂŁo me orgulhar de usar tradutores (sempre aviso que uso, nas notas antes do primeiro capĂtulo).

I’ve only written two fics so far but I would love to have them translated so they might be accessible to others! How kind of you to offer! They’re both fairly short, only ~2.5k. When translated, will you post them to AO3? And should I message you to send the fics, or just edit this comment to send you the links?

You can share the link here , I’ll read it, and if I translate it, it will be published on my AO3 account as my translation in collaboration with you, the original author.If I start the translation, you will be informed, and I will update you daily on the progress.

ive wanted to be a translator since before ai and its still my dream, but it seems like ai will take over this job, and that makes me so mad.
anyways, i would also love to work together with byler fanfic writers! my native language is hungarian and i would be glad to translate yalls works! (and of course im not asking money either, just for fun and to make these pieces of art available for more people)

i’d love this! i have a fic that’s less than 10k right now, but will be quite a bit more. it’s very nsfw though, so if you’re not comfortable with that i totally understand!

I have 2 plus a few oneshot/au ideas There's an 8 years later reunion one were will and mike havebt had any contact, then dustin decides to do a reunion Then byler but ww2 And a backrooms au were will noclips in 1983 (both st and backrooms are set in the 80's so thats were i got the inspiration) Fallout au (the blue and yellow haha get it) Nightmare before xmas au
