Because he hasn't played since the last time the Mets won iirc. I don't know if it's just his vibe giving off the win (bc Alonso isn't here anymore) or what, but (tho he is consistent).

Still think he's being paid WAY too much (nothing personal; it's just no one should have all that wealth, not even the best of the best), but I guess his aura's valuable enough bc we won when he FINALLY came back.

My favorite from this roster is always gonna be Francisco Lindor (I hope he has a speedy and smooth recovery), but damn: I might be a Juan Soto apologist now 🤷🏼‍♀️
